reflection about your understanding for nervous system
In general, and for this course, the way I learn best is reading. I love the Open Stax Anatomy textbook because it explains things clearly, and it often rather humorous while doing it. For the Nervous system, what I liked reading about most is just exactly how much the Brain controls everything, which may seem obvious, but in my AODA class, that’s exactly what’s we learn about, in terms of addiction: How the brain is damaged and different in addicts.
I’m not sure I understand things way deep down, on a cellular level, but I feels like I do at a general one. Like General Senses: To see, to hear, to taste, to smell. Smell is important, for enjoyment of food, and when people get older, their sense of smell declines, food is bland, less enjoyable. Easy.
